Rise Against Announce New Support Acts After SWMRS Pull Out Of Australian Tour

NewsWritten by Tom Williams on January 10, 2018

Rise Against have announced three new support acts for their 2018 Australian tour, after previously announced supports SWMRS pulled out of the tour.

While it’s still unclear why SWMRS have cancelled their trip to Australia, Rise Against will now be supported at all shows by Sydney five-piece Bare Bones, while Melbourne punks (and Seinfeld fans) Pagan will warm up the stage in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Meanwhile, Rise Against’s Adelaide show will feature a support slot from Basque rock outfit Berri Txarrak.

Rise Against will return to Australia in February for some of their biggest local shows to date, backed by their latest album Wolves.
